2.5 sport exhaust Jackaroo

Hi,
I’m looking at get a sports exhaust system for my 95 v6 jackaroo to try improving Power and fuel economy , I’m not after a loud system as I don’t won’t that drone on the highway , after speaking a few of the local exhaust shops they all have different opinions , one say’s go with the single muffler another say’s Go with a 2.5 with the single muffler until the tailpipe and drop it to 2 ¼ tailpipe (for back pressure) and the said to put two mufflers for the back pressure reasons so you don’t Lose any down low grunt , just checking on your opinions those who have gone down this Path ,
