Was talking about recovery points with some mates and a friend pointed us to this site. Nothing like a good snatch to remove a car.

I've heard of "diamonding" a chassis - but that's abit ridiculous...

Though it does look a bit safer than having a shackle and recovery hook fly back at the recovery vehicle. Confused

I actually thought that the car would get snatched out and then slide accross the ice into the back of the ute Embarassed

Would have been better if the bloke had pulled him the right way to begin with no dragged his ass deeper in the snow, that and 15 mins with a shovel would have fixed the whole problem, but then they wouldn't have given me a few minutes of amusment.

Perhaps a classic case of "playing up in front of the camera" syndrome Confused

I love how they are pumping up the tyres at the start with a dodgy hand pump.

If you look in http://www.crownvic.us/movies/ they have some other clips. Havn't had a chance to go through them all, but I did look at this one http://www.crownvic.us/movies/fire_in_the_hole.mpg .

Very poor attempt at a Jackass stunt. Best bit is he doesn't have the car in gear.

If you like Jackass though, look out for Dirty Sanchez (they take things a bit further than the Jackass crew, like spinning a bike tyre as quick as they can, and pushing their nuts onto the spinning tyre), Viva La Bam (Bam doing pranks on his family, soon on MTV) and WildBoys (Steve-O and Chris Pontios doing a Steve Irwin)

Kev80, it really is worth the time to download it on dialup. It took over an hour for it to download for me. Its a classic. Thats one reason I rarely tow 2wds out of bogs, you just dont know what damage you are going to cause, even being careful. But these wallys haven't a brain between em. And is typical of yanks, they all laughed at someone elses misfortune. they probably just threw it away, and bought another one. The great throw away society they have.

Pfft, the great CHEAP CAR society, I'd say. People here treat cars that aren't worth much pretty roughly too. It's just that even some pretty good cars aren't worth much over there.

It is a Windows Media Player file. Right click and "Save Link Target as:" to your desktop. Are you using Mozilla?? It does that.....
