Has anyone done this before or know much about it. Thought about using a cruiser (80) floor mount handbrake lever instead of umbrella handle thingy in 84 lux. Just find them bloody awkward. |

Can't help you with any tech. but perhaps the reason it's not that common may be the cable travel - the umbrella handle style has a lot of travel to actuate the brake, the lever style does not move the cable as far. |
