OK tech Q time???
what output drive speed (at the axle) do you guys aim for??
or what motor max rpm and what reduction gearing??
So i can work out a total required wheel speed!!

i see ax10 advertise 74:1 final drive ratio, is this enough?

It's all slightly different when it comes to electronics vs. fuel driven rigs. Electric has instant torque, then it comes down to the battery pack pushing it.

Most AX-10 owners here(USA) run the stock spur and pinion along with what ever motor they want. Brushless or brushed(35, 45 or 55 turn). Most run either a 7 or 8 cell pack to give that added punch.

There's not perfect "speed" that we aim for as each location you go crawling at tends to require slightly different wheel speeds. On a personal level, I like to be able to light 'em up when you need to bump the rig up and over a tough spot.
