could some one please tell me the measurement to the centre of the three bolts holding the front trailing arm in either on a standard on 2" raised veichael from level ground . Thank you in advance i am trying to get an idear of where my caster is as im putting 80 serries diffs in a 40 as long as i am close i can fit caster bushs to make up rest if need be .

Daz - at 3" the castor correction will be 3 degrees. You caqn just re drill holes on the front of the mounting plate on the diff and swing it - bushes flog out too easy and are a biatch...

yes under stand all that thanks . Im trying to see if i have set trailing arm at roughly the same angle as they are in an 80 that way any thing i buy will be off the shelf . mabey ?

Ahhhh - so you end up with same squat ratio...

I'd be grabbing tape measure and hitting the safeway carpark in Shep mate - just look for one and check.

Seriously - just get it tacked in and then hit an alingment shop and get an idea of which way you have to swing them. Easy as trailering it there and wheeling it up - prolly teh most cost effective way I can think of champ.

PS - The diff hasn't come out of the 80 yet - been very busy doing pre RWC maintenence on the Rangie project!!! Didn't know you had to oil the swivel hubs.... British????

yer guess thats what im going to end up doing i was just being lazy . i have already ted up alignment place to give figures when its time .
