Ok My E-maxx has arrived, what is the ultimate batteries to get for it?
There is some 8.4v ones on ebay or is 7.2v the go?
and if the Ultimate ones cost more than a Mortgage which is the next best?

Go for Lipo's dude.. Bigger bang for buck..
Get the biggest mah rating you can afford and also make sure they are of a high discharge rate. 20c-30c.....

Lithium Polymer batteries. As apose to Ni-cd ( nickel cadmium ) or Ni-Mh ( nickel metal hydride ).
They are light and have a high capacities. You will need a specific charger for them.
Call into your local hobby shop and have chat to blokes about batteries and what you want to use them for and they should be able to point you in the best direction.
If all else fail Ni-Mh are good but heavy.. They are also cheaper than Lipo's...
