This is the first one [produced and has not been tested in a vehicle yet but it will do at the Hammers during the New Year.

More info is availabe on Marlins forum http://board.marlincrawler.com/index.php?board=12;action=display;threadid=2397;start=0

This is going to be the ultimate mod to a toy transfer. It will even rival the Dual case adapter and lower gear sets. I think i will be looking into purchasing one of these my self.

my button doesnt work so i had to type the link in, works fine.

looking at that pic it is in internal shift, easy done as the 2 legs mate over each other. the issue will be with the shifter and i personally dont see 1500 dollars value in it.

It also fixes 2 other weaknesses that the toy box sufferes from.
The rear output and it upgrades the flanges to 30spline both front and rear.

Yes i was thinking of that this afternoon an the way home after you told me about it!!

Not only do you get rear disconnect but you also get a beefed up Output shaft! Very handy! Smile

i personnally dont think that it would be worth it, the market for them is too small. Longs for example, one of the best mods you can do to a toyota front axle, snake racing is the sole distrubutor and alot of people go straight to the source for them, he is also the distributor for marlin now that i think about it so he will most likely be selling them.

I totally agree!!!

I can't see any use for this other than in a Compitition BUGGY!!!!

A purpose built LIGHT weight Buggy (1200-1300Kg) with hilux running gear would most likly handle the abuse. However under a standard HEAVY hilux the front end (even beefed up) would simply not take it!!!!

yeah that is true, but RUFF, POS and myself were refering to the strenght of the outputs on the hilux boxes.
