I want one though, do they make them for trucks ?
or some overseas variation maybe.......

nah, he just stopped making them. he had moulds for all sorts of old fourbys. i got a couple of 1985 single cab hilux bodies off him for some scale crawlers i built.

it wasnt a company. it was just one guy in the us who loved rc and building scale replicas.

it cost him a bit to set it up but there was a big market for them so they werent cheap.

ill dig around for some pics, but i think they were on my old hdd.

Theres a guy on ebay, who makes them. Just look for gtho bodies in rc cars.

Worst thread EVARRR!!!

Want a body that doesnt exist from a guy who probably never made them, who charged through the roof then sold all the parts cheap and nobody knows, and the moulds were taken out of service never to be used again!

Then pics of a SICK looking chassis..

Sell me the chassis Harb, ill look after it.

Have a dig through my posts in the RC section ( a while back). I found a bloke on a US RC forum that did all sorts of odd 4x4 shells.

Post up if you find it!

I reckon i could almost get one made, but finding a base scale model to run through the scanner at would would be the biggest problem.

I'm not that smart to be able to make a digital model with the correct lines/profile either....

Take some pics of a GQ. Print them off to scale and then start building a clay model. Then you could make a light weight fibreglass shell from it.
